QP#19 - Bad Reaction

I'm not a fan of "American Idol", but whether you're a fan or not, you've got to watch this.

This clip was hilarious to me.  It also helped me further realize two things.  First, I could never be a father.  I say that because I would have come down into that basement and said, "You want something to cry about?  I'll give you something to cry about!"  Well, maybe I wouldn't say that, but I wouldn't be able to go downstairs without laughing my ass off.  Second, this is what's wrong with America today.  We're frittering away our passion over an obviously rigged "reality" show.  I'm betting these girls don't get that excited over troops coming home safely or breakthroughs in energy technology.  I know they are just a bunch of pre-teen girls, but if this is how they are being conditioned now (getting emotional over a tv show) then this is how they will act in the future.
