LG caught up with me with a PHENOMENAL 13 out of 14.  Way to go!  I was foolish for picking BAL over NYG, but I had my reasons.  You can read NFL#11 to see why.  I actually didn't do too badly.  11 out of 14 isn't too shabby.  ATL screwed me yet again!  I am starting to hate them with the intensity of 239 suns.  A-Town a-holes.  PHI and Cincinasty in a tie?  Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?  PIT won after some really sloppy play.  I don't understand what happened at the end of the game.  They had a touchdown, then they didn't, then they did, and then they didn't.  The NFL is going to have to tighten up on the officiating next year.

Week 12 Picks

CIN @ PIT - The AFC-N is still in contention as PIT sloppily wins its games.  I still don't understand how CIN was able to hold PHI to a tie.  I'm guessing that PHI didn't take them seriously enough, that and McNabb didn't understand the rulebook.  I say that because if he knew ties were possible he may have not lost so many games in the past.  Burn.  At any rate, with BAL playing a cross-conference match against a definite playoff contender, PIT can afford to lose this game, but they need a win to cement their 1st place standing.  Picklez Pick:  PIT 

HOU @ CLE - It was a squeaker last week against BUF, but CLE proved that they still have the guts and the talent to win games against tougher opponents.  HOU isn't a bunch of pushovers though, and they are much better team than their 3-7 record shows so CLE better bring their "A" game.  Picklez Pick:  CLE 

SF @ DAL - DAL manned the bilge pumps and won a tough road game against division rival WAS.  I think they should be able to defeat SF if Tony Homo is concentrating properly.  Picklez Pick:  DAL

TB @ DET - If TB gets beaten by DET, then they truly suck because DET sucks harder than 10,000 black holes.  DET sucks so hard Hoover is coming out with a special edition DET Lions vacuum cleaner.  Seriously though, TB needs to win this game because the CAR is playing ATL and a win here ties them for 1st or pads their lead for 2nd in the NFC-S.  Picklez Pick:  TB

NYJ @ TEN - This should be a very good game.  NYJ leads the AFC-N with a very tentative grip.  A win here against the appropriately named Titans (this season anyway) should quiet all the anti-Favre rumblings.  Unfortunately, I don't think that NYJ has what it takes to beat TEN.  I say this because it looked like JAC was going to beat them last week.  In the first half, JAC was all like, "I admit it, you are better than I am," and TEN was like, "Then why are you smiling?"

JAC:  Because I know something you don't know.

TEN:  What's that?

JAC:  I am not left-handed.

Then in the second half, TEN was like:  You are amazing.

JAC:  I ought to be after 9 games.

TEN:  There's something I ought to tell you.

JAC:  Tell me.

TEN:  I'm not left-handed either.

BUF @ KC - Kansas Shitty has been on a 6 game losing streak compared to BUF's 4 game losing streak.  Their performance against a battered NO wasn't terrible.  I'd like to say I smell an upset, but it just might be the general stink of these two teams.  No, wait.  I think it's an upset.  Picklez Pick:  BUF

CHI @ STL - STL is favored this week at home against CHI.  Now, STL is due for another win and on top of that CHI played absolutely horribly last week against GB.  3 points?  Hell, even DET scored 22 points against CAR!  CHI is pretty beat up, and STL definitely wants to win at home.  Picklez Pick:  STL  

NE @ MIA - A tough one.  This is for 2nd place in the AFC-N division.  MIA is on a 4W streak so their due for a loss, but MIA is proving to be a more than decent team.  Picklez Pick:  MIA

MIN @ JAC - MIN is not a good road team especially when it comes to cross-conference match ups.  With a 3-way tie for first in the NFC-N, they will definitely want to break the tie.  They're going to have to dig deep to get it though.  Picklez Pick:  MIN

PHI @ BAL - This is another really difficult game to call.  PHI's tie against CIN shows that their offense isn't firing on all cylinders.  BAL is licking its wounds from the shellacking NYG gave them and they want to keep the pressure on PIT.  Picklez Pick: BAL  

OAK @ DEN - Finally, a no brainer.  Picklez Pick:  DEN

CAR @ ATL - Decisions, decisions.  I really want CAR to win so I should probably pick ATL.  No, on second thought I'll just pick CAR.  Picklez Pick:  CAR

NYG @ ARI - ARI is vastly underated.  I wouldn't be surprised if they beat NYG.  OK, maybe I would be a little surprised.  Picklez Pick:  NYG

WAS @ SEA - There's no way that WAS should lose to the Suckhawks.  The #2 spot in the NFC-E is on the line if they lose.  Picklez Pick:  WAS

IND @ SD - OK, my theory of the power of Manning! is wrong.  I sure do like to type Manning! though.  I believe that Capt. Peyton is trying to turn the ship around.  With TEN dominating their division, IND is scrambling for a Wild Card spot.  Suck Diego has been set to self-destruct in T-minus 6 games.  Picklez Pick:  IND

GB @ NO - Wow!  I have no idea who to pick.  Two 5-5 teams.  NO is at home but they have some key injuries.  GB is healthy but isn't a good road team.  GB needs it more, though.  Picklez Pick:  GB
